Digital Marketing Manager

Catchfire, a digital marketing agency headquartered in New England, is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Manager to support our continued growth. We are looking for someone who can jump into our client’s shoes and equip them with data, insights and effective strategies to continue to become category leaders. This is a remote position, but New England-based employees are preferred for future in-person meetings and events.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide insight and analytic driven thinking across a diverse array of projects, whether it’s revamping a company’s e-commerce presence, launching a new digital campaign or optimizing spend. We need someone who is not afraid of a challenge, and is able to take on a product and purpose-driven mindset to drive results. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Dive into a category to understand: 
    • Data and insights to help inform marketing decisions 
    • Competitors, threats and opportunities 
    • Consumer-driven trends 
  • Build a case for ideas that produce growth, evolve our clients and build a meaningful position in the market
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop a cohesive marketing plan and strategy for our clients that includes: 
    • Creation and development of marketing calendars 
    • Detailed spend allocation and promotional efforts 
    • Insight into key times of year and corresponding programs/campaigns 
  • Spend significant time with clients gaining deep insight into client business problems and goals 
  • Create and execute longer-term vision for our clients 
  • Define new organizational structures and work with clients to improve internal processes
  • Participate in pitches and business development efforts 
  • Oversee and manage our digital marketing efforts including:
    • Campaign optimization and daily management 
    • Content creation and development 
    • Ad spend, promotion and targeting 
  • Help manage budgets and timelines across key accounts working directly with the Account team 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree
  • Experience working with CPG, consumer and lifestyle brands 
  • Strong written and oral business communication skills
  • 4+ years of email marketing experience in helping to develop and deploy effective campaigns and setup automation sequences (Klaviyo or Mailchimp preferred) 
  • 4+ years of digital marketing management (social media, advertising, search and SEO)
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging data using Google Analytics and Shopify (or other e-commerce platforms) 
  • Strong understanding of social advertising, posting and campaign management 
  • Google Adwords certification preferred, or ability to deploy, manage and optimize campaigns 
  • Strong understanding of Amazon marketplace, including advertising through Seller Central 
  • Solid understanding of marketing analytics and reporting including acquiring and organizing data
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute to messaging and creative concepts across digital campaigns
  • Outstanding ability to think strategically, identify and resolve problems
  • Strong attention to detail, a team-first personality, and the ability to think on your feet
  • Data-driven with a hands-on approach, a good sense of prioritization, collaboration and the ability to take action in a fast-paced environment
